It's that time of year again! Love is in the air, and Valentine's Day is a great opportunity to spend some quality time with the one you love! Sometimes it can be tricky figuring out a fun and meaningful date idea. So today I'm sharing some great options in the Reno/Tahoe area that won't disappoint!
1) MS Dixie II Valentine's Day Dinner Cruise -

2) See a show at the famous Brüka Theatre-
Come see The Lion in Winter, the featured show at the famous Brüka Theatre in downtown Reno. Reservations are available through the Brüka box office (775) 323-3221. General admission is $20. Admission for students, seniors and military is $18. All tickets are $25 at the door.
3) Ice Skating-
If you haven't yet visited the Greater Nevada Field, now is the chance to spend some quality time here. The downtown ice skating rate is located at the Ace's stadium, and is a wonderful place to enjoy some hot chocolate and glide on the ice with your hunny!
This place is an extraordinary date option that you both will love! Come get creative and build your own succulents garden pot, or a unique hanging air plant display while sipping on some vino. This date idea will be an instant classic for you and your loved one!
5) Valentine's Day Couples Yoga-
If getting physical excites your Valentine's Day passion, joining The Yoga Pod for their Valentine's Day themed Yin yoga class followed by wine and snacks!
Watching a great movie is always a great way to snuggle up close to your loved one! And this year Fifty Shades Freed will be hitting the big screen February 9th! This film will surely be a spicy romance that will heat up the night!
7) Essence at Sammy's Showroom in Harrah's-

Saturday, February 10, 2018, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. This is an event for adult superheroes only (21+). Show off your favorite superhero costume and explore the "Hall of Heroes" exhibit, without the kids. Admission includes music, unlimited access to Hall of Heroes, hors d'oeuvres, and one adult beverage token. Wear a superhero costume to earn an extra drink token. $25 in advance, $35 at the door. 9) Nothing To It Cooking Class-
Come join in on a phenomenal cooking class at Nothing To It. This spot features some of Reno's top chefs that are offering their expertise on the art of gourmet cooking. What better way to bond and connect with your significant other than crafting a meal together and sipping great wine!
10) Sunset Snowshoe Tour and Valentine's Day Dinner-
Bundle up with your date and spend this special evening watching the sunset over Donner Lake. Tour departs from the Alder Creek Adventure Center at 4:00 pm and $25 includes equipment rentals. Following the tour, enjoy chef specials at the Lodge at Tahoe Donner.
